We have the honor to represent for your guidance the general info about those possibilities for arrangement of shipping of cargoes by sea and rendering of the other kinds of services which we are pleased to offer to all of our already existing and for our potential clients as in Russia as abroad.
Our shipping line – ASPOL LINE – duly registered by the Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation presented by Administration of the Port of St. Petersburg – created by two well known companies – open joint-stock shareholding company “ASPOL Baltic Corporation” (short name – J/S “ASPOL Baltic”) and the company with limited liability “Master Shipping Ltd” (short name – “Master Shipping Ltd”).
ASPOL Baltic Corporation starts to count its activity as from the year 1988 when there started our work for arrangement of shipping of cargoes by sea via the port of Murmansk. The further work of the company is indissolubly connected to the port of St. Petersburg which is the main gates connecting the Russian shippers and consignees with their partners all over the world.
The main sphere of ASPOL Baltic Corporation is arrangement and performance of 7 class cargoes transportation (nuclear cargoes of different types).
The company has the special license of State Committee of Russian Federation for control over the nuclear energy which is granting the right to handle with nuclear materials in process of their transportation by sea and follows all the requirements stipulated as by Russian as by international legislation for providing of full safety in all aspects of indicated activity as from the taking of technical measures for special equipment of the vessels and ending by maintenance of the necessary qualification by all the personnel of the company including the basic knowledge of nuclear and radioactive safety, physical defense of nuclear and radioactive cargoes and others aspects.
In order to enlarge our activity for transportation of general cargoes there was created another company – the company with limited liability Master Shipping Ltd.
Master Shipping Ltd is specialized on arrangement of sea carriage of the different general cargoes all over the world. For the passed period of time the given company had accumulated the significant experience for performance of similar carriages. At the same time the range of transported cargoes is quite wide and includes the different types of containerized and break-bulk cargoes, different technique and other equipment and specialized equipment, etc.
The transportation of some of the cargoes may represent some difficulties in view of their physical and chemical characteristics and requires taking for the special safety measures on all the stages of sea carriage.
That is why we do consider that just our accumulated knowledge and experience of sea carriage as in respect of the general cargoes as in respect of the nuclear ones represent the special characteristics of the shipping line – ASPOL LINE. Presently the given line exercises the transportation in accordance with preferential regime on the route: St. Petersburg – ports of Scandinavia, Europe, and American continent and vice versa.
The key point of the given line is that it allows for every vessel to work not in frame of particular liner schedule but following the flexible schedule of the shippers transporting their cargoes. The given system is primarily aimed towards fulfillment of the interests of the shippers & consignees. Also it allows maintaining strict confidentiality the schedule and the route of the vessel’s movement having the dangerous cargo onboard. At the same time all our vessels follow all the national and international requirements and conventions which regulate transportation of the given cargoes.
The firm fulfillment of all the rules and laws allows us to successfully transport all above cargoes for more than 10 years.
